March's meeting will discuss the Cadillac Tax under the ACA and provide an overview of private exchanges. In light of the recent publication of IRS Notice 2015-16 regarding potential approaches to calculating the Cadillac Tax, we will provide an overview of various aspects of the tax. The IRS has requested comments on this Notice, and we will outline several areas where employers can provide feedback. There will also be a presentation discussing what private exchanges are, who offers them, and who has started to use them. A dialogue about how the employer space is evolving and considerations for employers will be part of the meeting.
